Background

ZeroBot is a botnet built in Go that propagates mainly by exploiting flaws in IoT devices and web applications. Sold under a malware-as-a-service (MaaS) model, its infrastructure overlaps with DDoS-for-hire operations that the FBI seized in December 2022.
