C2 (Command and Control)

The infrastructure and channels malware uses to receive instructions and exfiltrate data from a compromised host.

Dropper

A small program whose only job is to deliver and execute a larger malware payload on the target system.

IOC (Indicator of Compromise)

A forensic artifact — a hash, domain, IP, or behavior — that signals a system may be compromised by a specific threat.
