Background
Dr.Web reports that WhiteBird is a C++ backdoor built to run on both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows. Its configuration is protected by a single-byte XOR key. Notably, the malware can be confined to operating only during defined "working_hours", configurable down to one-minute granularity.
