Background
VJW0rm (also known as Vengeance Justice Worm) is an openly available, modular RAT written in JavaScript. It was originally published in November 2016 by its main author, v_B01 (aka Sliemerez), on the well-known Arabic-language malware development forum DevPoint. The malware seems to be the JavaScript edition of a family of functionally equivalent RATs the author put out during late 2016. The companion variants include a Visual Basic Script (VBS) worm named vw0rm (Vengeance Worm), an AutoHotkey-based version called vrw0rm (Vengeance Rise Worm), and a PowerShell variant known as vdw0rm (Vengeance Depth Worm).
