TellYouThePass
According to PCrisk, Tellyouthepass is one of many ransomware-type programs used to block access to files by encryption and keep them in this state unless a ransom is paid.
TellYouThePass is a Windows malware family.
Background
PCrisk describes Tellyouthepass as yet another ransomware-class program that encrypts a victim's files and holds them inaccessible until a ransom is paid.
It appends the ".locked" extension to every encrypted file and drops a ransom note in a text file named "README.html"; for instance, "1.jpg" becomes "1.jpg.locked".
The operators claim the ransomware relies on the RSA-1024 and AES-256 algorithms to encrypt data.
