Active since the fall of 2019, Team TNT is a prominent threat actor focused on *nix systems and poorly configured Docker container deployments. The group has continually refined the tooling behind its cloud-oriented cryptojacking campaigns, and its targeting has increasingly moved toward compromising Kubernetes Clusters.
