Snatch is a Windows malware family.

Background

Snatch is a ransomware that compromises victims by restarting the PC into Safe Mode. Since most security protections are inactive in Safe Mode, the malware can operate without the usual countermeasures and encrypt every file it locates. It conceals its payload with widely used packers such as UPX.
