Background

Shifu was first uncovered around mid-2015 by Trusteer security researchers Ilya Kolmanovich and Denis Laskov. It is a banking trojan that concentrates largely on Japanese banks and offers a broad set of features for remotely extracting data and controlling infected hosts.
