RatMilad is a recently identified piece of Android spyware that has been exfiltrating data from mobile devices across the Middle East. It is distributed via social-media links while masquerading as apps for services such as VPNs and phone-number spoofing, leading careless users to install the trojanized apps and grant them the permissions the malware needs.
