ZScaler reported on a new Infostealer called PurpleWave, which is written in C++ and silently installs itself onto a user’s system.

Background
ZScaler documented a new infostealer named PurpleWave, written in C++, that quietly installs itself on a victim's system. It reaches out to a command and control (C&C) server to transmit system details and pulls additional malware onto the infected host.
Its author markets and sells the PurpleWave stealer on Russian cybercrime forums, charging 5,000 RUB (US$68) for the version with lifetime updates and 4,000 RUB (US$54) for one limited to two updates.
