Prestige
According to PCrisk, Prestige is ransomware - malware that prevents victims from accessing (opening) their files by encrypting them.
Prestige is a Windows malware family.
Background
PCrisk classifies Prestige as ransomware, malware that locks victims out of opening their files by encrypting them. Prestige also tacks the ".enc" extension onto filenames and writes a "README" file holding the ransom note. For instance, it changes "1.jpg" into "1.jpg.enc", "2.png" into "2.png.enc", and so on.
