Poet RAT is a Python rat.

Background

Cisco Talos uncovered a Python-based RAT it named Poet RAT. The malware is dropped by a Word document and ships alongside a Python interpreter and the libraries it needs. Its name comes from Shakespeare references found within it, and it exfiltrates stolen data over FTP.
