Panda Stealer is a Windows infostealer.

Background

PCrisk identifies Panda as malicious software classified as a stealer, and a fresh variant of CollectorStealer.

Its purpose is to pull sensitive and personal information from compromised devices and send it back to the operators, with a particular focus on data tied to cryptocurrency wallets.

The malware has been seen distributed through spam campaigns, mass operations that blast out thousands of fraudulent emails. The spam carrying Panda stealer leaned heavily on recipients in the United States, Germany, Japan, and Australia.

These lure emails revolved around business themes, such as bogus requests for product quotes. Panda stealer is a hazardous program, so any infection should be eliminated the moment it is found.
