Background

Unit42 describes NGLite as a backdoor Trojan whose sole function is executing commands delivered over its C2 channel. Although its feature set is typical of a backdoor, NGLite stands out by communicating with its operators through an unusual C2 channel built on a decentralized network based on the legitimate NKN.
