N40 is a Windows malware family.

Background

A botnet that concentrates on banks across Latin America and South America. It leverages DLL Sideloading to run its malicious DLLs and abuses a legitimate VMWare executable during attacks. As of March 2019, it remained under active development, with new versions being released on an ongoing basis.
