Malware

Milum

In August 2019, Kaspersky Labs discovered a malware they dubbed Milum (naming based on internal file name fragments) when investigating an operation they named WildPressure.

Milum is a Windows malware family.

Background

Kaspersky Labs came across this malware in August 2019 while probing a campaign they called WildPressure, naming it Milum after fragments found in its internal file names. The code is built in C++ and leans on the STL, mainly for JSON parsing. Its features cover uploading and downloading files in both directions as well as executing commands remotely.
