InnaputRAT

InnaputRAT, a RAT capable of exfiltrating files from victim machines, was distributed by threat actors using phishing and Godzilla Loader.

Background

InnaputRAT is a remote access trojan able to steal and exfiltrate files from compromised systems, spread by attackers through phishing as well as the Godzilla Loader. Several variants of the RAT have appeared over time, with the lineage going back to 2016. As of March 26, 2018, campaigns delivering InnaputRAT were still beaconing to active command-and-control infrastructure.
