This information-stealing malware exfiltrates data from its victims and uploads this information to its web server for publication.

Gremlin is a Windows malware family.

Background

This stealer harvests data from infected hosts and sends it to an attacker-controlled web server where it is published. It pulls information from browsers, the clipboard, and local storage, targeting sensitive material such as credit card numbers, browser cookies, cryptocurrency wallet data, and File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and virtual private network (VPN) credentials.
