Background
Check Point exposed a campaign it named "Domestic Kitten" that relies on rogue Android apps to siphon sensitive data from victims, including screenshots, messages, call logs, ambient voice recordings, and more. The operation evaded scrutiny for an extended period because its files had not been linked to any known malware family and were flagged by only a small number of security vendors.
