Background

Broadcom describes DeerStealer as a Delphi-based information stealer aimed at devices running the Windows operating system. It includes hidden VNC functionality for covert remote desktop control and harvests cryptocurrency wallets from USB drives along with more than 800 browser extensions. The stolen data is packaged into a ZIP archive and exfiltrated to a botnet C2 server.
