Background

Coper is an Android banking trojan and RAT that evolved from ExobotCompact, which was itself a rewrite of Exobot. The malware is built around a modular design, employs a multi-stage infection chain, and in certain variants incorporates a DGA. Although it was initially detected in Colombia, its activity has since expanded into Europe.
