Background

PCrisk describes CapraRAT as an Android remote access trojan (RAT) that may be a reworked variant of the open-source AndroRAT. The tool is attributed to the advanced persistent threat (APT) group APT36, also tracked as Earth Karkaddan, and it lets operators carry out various actions on a compromised Android device.
