Background

Avast Decoded reports that Caligula is a cross-platform IRC bot built to launch DDoS attacks. Coded in Go, it ships as ELF binaries for Intel 32/64-bit, ARM 32-bit, and PowerPC 64-bit architectures, and it builds on the open-source Hellabot project.
