Babadeda

According to PCrisk, Babadeda is a new sample in the crypters family, allowing threat actors to encrypt and obfuscate the malicious samples.

Babadeda is a Windows malware family.

Background

PCrisk identifies Babadeda as a recent addition to the crypter family, giving attackers a means to encrypt and obfuscate their malicious payloads. That obfuscation lets the malware slip past most antivirus defenses without raising any alarms. Researchers note that Babadeda's elaborate and intricate obfuscation results in a very low detection rate across anti-virus engines.
