Fortinet reports that Amnesia RAT is a Python program built for wide-ranging, multi-category data theft paired with live surveillance and system control. Among its features are stealing browser credentials and session data, hijacking Telegram Desktop sessions, discovering seed phrases, monitoring the clipboard, lifting Discord and Steam data, targeting cryptocurrency wallets and financial assets, collecting system and hardware intelligence, surveilling the screen, audio, and user activity, controlling processes and the system, maintaining persistence, and using several exfiltration channels.
